Rick Bambeneck, MA, PLPC
Rick Bambenek is a Provisionally Licensed Profession Counselor and works with children, adolescents, and adults. Rick is a member of the American Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota, the national counseling honor society. Rick received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Pre-Med from the University of Missouri Kansas City and his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University (CACREP Accredited).
Rick feels that each individual is unique and tailors therapy to each client utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches. Rick’s integrative approach utilizes interventions and theories from person centered therapy, behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, positive psychology, and solution focused therapy. By using a holistic approach to therapy Rick aspires to provide each client with personalized treatment to meet their specific needs. Rick provides a therapeutic environment guided by empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. He believes that action begets motivation to change and looks forward to taking the first steps with you.
