Kimberly Marcos, MSW, LCSW
Kimberly graduated from Avila University obtaining her BSW. She obtained her MSW degree from University of Missouri Kansas City. She has over 10 years’ experience working with clients struggling with ADHD/ADD, Adjustment Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Coping Skills, Developmental Disorders, Domestic Violence, Grief and Loss, Mood Disorders, OCD, Parenting Issues, Self Esteem, PTSD/Trauma. She also has experience with those who have Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, career counseling, and worked with clients the foster system.
Kimberly utilizes the Strengths Perspective while empowering clients. She believes in helping to show each client their worth; as well as showing them respect and dignity. She values an individualistic approach for each client as she is trained uses: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Coaching, Play Therapy Techniques, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Therapy and Task Centered Practice.
Kimberly offers individual sessions for children, teens and adults. She is passionate about partnering with clients and is described as approachable, warm and dedicated. Kimberly is clinically licensed in the states of Kansas and Missouri.
