Amy Vancamp, MSW, LCSW
Amy received her Bachelors in Arts in Social Work from the University of Central Missouri and received her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Amy has over 11 years of experience in the field of Social Work. Amy is clinically licensed in the state of Missouri.
Amy has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples and families who present with a wide range of personal challenges.
Amy has experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment and adjustment issues, grief and loss, life transitions, behavioral issues, substance abuse, and mood disorders. Amy also has experience in high-conflict divorce issues.
Amy provides individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and co-parenting. Amy also provides therapeutically supervised parent/child visits. Amy is working towards obtaining board certification in Neurofeedback.
Therapeutic techniques that Amy utilizes include: cognitive behavioral, conflict resolution, client-centered, solution focused, family systems, and strength-based.
